the need for a separate dispensing tap most of the time that
will save you money to purchase the faucet and drilling a hole in your
sink or counter top. It also eliminates the problem of matching the style
or finish of your existing kitchen or bath faucet.
Our HFC-1000 high flow model is designed
for 1.5 gpm and when
connected to
the existing cold sink faucet in your kitchen or at your bathroom sink,
your family members are using the filtered water for the benefits of a
more healthy lifestyle.
The amount of filtered water used for other purposes in the kitchen, ie.,
blending water for washing dishes, hand washing is minimal and this design
allows you to use the water freely and still maintain an annual cartridge
maintenance interval for most homes. Typical usage in the kitchen shows 80%
of the cold water usage should have filtered water. We designed our High
Flow HFC-1000 system with the extra capacity
and high performance to install directly to the existing cold sink faucet.
A separate tap can be used with this system if you prefer.
With the existing cold sink faucet filtered, it will allow you to use the
water the way you want it and need it. Such as for, drinking, cooking, food
preparation, large pot filling, ice, and hot or cold beverages.
Competitive products with similar performance only have a 1/2 gpm flow which
is too slow a flow rate to install in this method. Most consumers do not
use these type of systems for all of the filter needs in the home. Such as,
Filling large pots to cook pasta, because it just takes too long with these
